About the Presentation
From Darcy’s career as an operator, she draws from past experiences when operational upsets happened in wastewater treatment plants. She discusses how ownership and accountability affect our workplaces, relationships, and our critical infrastructure.
About the Speaker
Darcy Dion is currently a Territory Manager for Westlake Pipe and Fittings. She is also a director on both BCWWA and EOCP boards and is passionate about operator advocacy within the water sector and our communities. Prior to her role with Westlake, Darcy worked in operations as a water and wastewater operator in treatment, distribution and collection systems across BC and Alberta for 12 years.

This webinar is open to anyone, particularly those interested in the field of Wastewater Management and/or joining the Community of Practice.
The purpose of the Wastewater Management Community of Practice is to share information and best practices related to wastewater management to enhance participants’ knowledge and performance in the area of wastewater in BC and the Yukon.
