Exam Calendar
The BCWWA hosts certification and recertification exams through nine (9) Accredited Training Institutions (ATIs). These exams have been developed in collaboration with the CCC National Committee, which represents cross connection certification programs throughout Canada.

About the Exams
The backflow assembly tester certification process comprises of two parts; the practical exam and the written exam.
- Practical exams are held at the training institutions under the direction of a BCWWA proctor and include the testing of three (3) devices.
- Written exams are completed at the training institution in the presence of an invigilator.
- Exams are either paper-based or web-based, depending on the training institution.
- All exams are closed book.
