Read the Latest Edition of Watermark Magazine: Where Waters Meet

April 8, 2026

As we prepare for this year’s annual conference in Penticton, its geographic location between Lake Okanagan and Lake Skaha is not lost on us.

Much like these two bodies of water, the conference represents a coming together – a convergence of the diverse, highly skilled professionals who make up British Columbia and the Yukon’s water sector.

In this issue, we highlight several of these evolving collaborations, from the exchange of critical information with federal and provincial partners to the growing role of SCADA and other operational technologies. We also offer a preview of what attendees can expect at the upcoming conference. And for the first time, we are thrilled to share a welcome message from the Honourable Randene Neill, British Columbia’s Minister of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship.
