2026 Student Design Competition Winners Announced

Congratulations to the winner of the 2026 Student Design Competition: Team BioWise Solutions!

This year, BCWWA partnered with the City of Abbotsford to task teams with developing a strategy to improve water quality in the Fishtrap Creek watershed in Abbotsford, BC. Team BioWise Solutions stood out with their approach to balance green and grey infrastructure to create a more resilient community asset.

The winners of this year’s competition, Team BioWise is moving ahead to compete on the world stage at the 2026 Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) in New Orleans, LA.
