Continuing education for operators has been a core program of the BC Water & Waste Association since the organization’s inception in 1978. For more than four decades, we have been one of the largest and most trusted source of training in BC and the Yukon, preparing operators for certification exams, providing continuing education unit (CEU) credits, and helping operators advance their careers.
Want to progress your career as a water or wastewater operator? Take one of our certification preparation courses, online or in-class, ahead of a certification exam. To learn new skills and gain CEUs, complete one of our skills-specific elective in-class courses.
Our schools occur in the spring and fall around the province. Primary locations for these schools are New Westminster, Nanaimo, Kelowna and Prince George. Check out our upcoming courses and register now!
We also offer courses on-demand with a minimum number of confirmed attendees. If you would like to bring a course to your area, contact us firstname.lastname@example.org or 604-630-0094.
Note: You must meet Environmental Operators Certification Program (EOCP) certification requirements (from the EOCP Program Guide) before attempting a certification exam to advance to the next certification level.
Do you have a group of operators that require training? Are you looking for customized training curriculum tailored for your operation? Do you want to host a training event at your facility? We work with employers to design the curriculum and delivery method that best suits your needs.
Want to discuss your unique training needs? Contact us at email@example.com or 604-630-0094.
Are you unable to attend in-class courses? Would you like to gain new knowledge or upgrade old skills at your own pace? Learn at home or at the office with our online courses. All courses carry the same CEU value as classroom-based courses and offer the same skills training that comes from in-person education. Online learning includes regular access to a course moderator to answer questions and to help guide your learning.
