The Water Environment Federation (WEF) and World Business Chicago (WBC), with support from the City of Chicago, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, and Chicago Sisters Cities International, will jointly present Chicago Water Summit 2014: Global Lessons from Great Water Cities. Fundraising Adventurer to Cycle Around the World for Water for People

Jason Manning describes himself as a “fundraising adventurer.” He is also a caring adventurer, as he is leaving to cycle around the world raising funds for Water For People. He has worked for two years as a lifeguard/swimming instructor at the Township of Langley to save and prepare for this trip.

Environment Canada online info sessions for Wastewater Regulations reporting systems (ERRIS and SWIM)

The following is a notice from Environment Canada:

We are pleased to announce that Environment Canada’s reporting system for the Wastewater Systems Effluent Regulations (WSER) is available online. The Effluent Regulatory Reporting Information System (ERRIS) will utilize Environment Canada’s Single Window System where WSER regulatees establish user accounts and manage their organization information. Environment Canada would like to invite you to participate a web information session that will demonstrate how to complete the WSER identification report and monitoring reports using ERRIS.
