CONDENSED FAQs

Question: What platform will the BC Water & Waste Association (BCWWA) 2020 Virtual Conference & Trade Show be hosted on?

Answer: We are hosting the BCWWA 2020 Virtual Conference & Trade Show on PheedLoop. Our reception and round table discussions will be hosted on Remo, which is accessible through PheedLoop.

Question: How do I log in and when will I get access?

Answer: The BCWWA will provide you with further information on how to log into the PheedLoop conference platform closer to the date of the event. On November 2nd, you will be given access to the PheedLoop platform, and provided with instructions on how to create an account and edit your profile.

Question: Can I share my PheedLoop login information with other members of my team?

Answer: Everyone who wishes to participate must be registered. Additionally, your attendance is tracked through your login for CEU and professional development purposes.

Question: Which internet browser will provide me with the best experience?

Answer: We recommend the use of Google Chrome for the best experience in PheedLoop. We do not recommend using Microsoft Edge. It is also important to note that the receptions will be held on a connected platform, Remo, where Chrome or Firefox are the browsers of choice. Remo is also compatible with Safari.

Question: Can I turn on my webcam during the event?

Answer: We encourage you to turn on your webcam during the event. There is ample opportunity to engage in video chats during the conference. The networking area of the PheedLoop conference platform offers one-on-one and group video and text chats with all delegates and exhibitors. You will also be able to start video and text chats with exhibitors at their booths.

Question: Can I view the BCWWA 2020 Virtual Conference & Trade Show on a mobile device?

Answer: The PheedLoop conference platform is best experienced on a laptop or desktop device, as PheedLoop utilizes several technologies and features that are difficult to use on smaller devices (e.g. video chats through PheedLoop Meet). PheedLloop is responsive and compatible with tablets and smartphones, though these smaller devices are best suited for scheduling purposes and viewing-only experiences. There is an app that you can download onto your phone to customize your schedule and keep track of notifications that will alert you to when a scheduled session is starting soon.
