Annual conference policies

BCWWA registration payment and cancellation policy: Once the registration form (online or paper) has been received by BCWWA, the registration is considered firm. Payment is due before the event start date. Refunds will be processed for cancellations received by BCWWA seven (7) working days before the event start date, subject to a cancellation fee of $50 + tax. The minimum cheque refund amount is $10. No refunds will be given for cancellations received within seven (7) working days of the event start. If a customer registers without paying and does not attend the event, the registration will be considered firm if they do not notify BCWWA of their cancellation per the refund policy stated above. They will be invoiced for the full registration cost. Courses and events will be offered subject to minimum registration levels being attained and BCWWA reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule any courses or events up to two weeks prior to the scheduled start date.

BCWWA course and event policy: BCWWA will try to accommodate requests for special meals received at least 2 weeks prior to the course or event start date. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate all dietary restrictions. It is the responsibility of each delegate to accommodate his or her own allergy restrictions. Delegate substitution is permitted at no charge, but must be submitted in writing to BCWWA at least 2 business days before the course or event start date. By registering for a BCWWA course or event you are agreeing to provide your contact information to select sponsors, exhibitors and/or attendees before and/or after the course or event. You must inform BCWWA at least 2 weeks prior to the course or event start date if you do not want your contact information provided.

BCWWA membership policy: BCWWA memberships are issued on an individual basis and may not be transferred or borrowed unless full membership is completely given up. Membership transfer is irrevocable. Membership fees are non-refundable.

BCWWA filming and photography policy: Please note that while attending events, courses and other activities hosted by BC Water and Waste Association (BCWWA), you may be photographed, taped or recorded. These photographs, tapings and recordings (the “Media”) may be used by BCWWA in their promotional and training materials, or provided to others for their use. In using and distributing the Media, BCWWA is not liable for any violation of rights of privacy, publicity, defamation or any similar right.
