Cross Connection Control in the Yukon

Description:In May 2013, BC Water & Waste Association (BCWWA) held its first workshop in the Yukon, entitled Cross Connection Control Awareness: Keeping our Most Valuable Resources Safe. Attendees included representatives from the Yukon Government, Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, local First Nations, and consultants. The workshop, held in Whitehorse, YT, was presented by Bob Sochowski, a BCWWA instructor with 20 years of experience in mechanical building technology and cross connection control. This article describes some of the key learnings attendees received from the workshop.
