BCWWA Student Membership
If you are a student, there are three ways to become a member in BCWWA.
BCWWA Only
You can join BCWWA as a student member for an annual membership rate of $15 CDN. You get all the benefits of an “individual” membership, at a reduced cost. To apply, follow the instructions on the membership application page.
AWWA and BCWWA
The American Waterworks Association (AWWA) is one of the two parent organizations of BCWWA. If you are interested in the drinking water side of the industry, joining AWWA as student member provides excellent value. It provides exposure to the drinking water industry in North America and also gives you a membership in BCWWA. The annual membership rate is $25 US. To apply, follow the directions at www.awwa.org/membership.
You do not need to apply to BCWWA if you obtain an AWWA student membership.
WEF and BCWWA
The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is the second parent organization of BCWWA. This organization is primarily focused on wastewater management. The annual WEF Student membership is $35 US. This includes a membership in BCWWA. To apply, go to www.wef.org and click on “join”.
You do not need to apply to BCWWA if you obtain a WEF student membership.
Note:
For WEF and AWWA Student memberships, proof of student status is required. See the WEF and AWWA web sites. For BCWWA, proof of status may be requested.
