BCWWA is looking for PROCTORS in all regions of BC.
What is a PROCTOR?
A BCWWA Proctor is a qualified individual who administers the Cross Connection Control Tester certification exam.
Who has the skills to be a PROCTOR?
- A BCWWA certified Cross Connection Control Tester with a minimum of 3 years immediate consecutive active status.
- A working knowledge of the mechanics of backflow preventers and differential pressure gauges.
- Plumbers, sprinkler fitters, water utility managers or foremen, retired CCC Tester instructors.
What do proctors need to do?
The role of a Proctor is to administer both written and practical examinations for CCC Testers. Proctors are expected to commit to participating in at least two one-day examination sessions each year. Some training and orientation will be provided for new proctors.
If you are interested in proctoring, please write a covering letter outlining your experience especially as it relates to the skills described above. Also in your letter let us know why you think we should consider having you proctor on our behalf.
