Lead Operator - Maintenance

Selected key responsibilities:

The Lead Operator - Water Treatment Plant Maintenance (referred to as the Maintenance Lead) schedules and directs maintenance functions, and ensures compliance to established policies and procedures, OH&S, and with the AENV Approval to Operate. The Lead Operator provides direction, guidance, support and leadership to the maintenance staff within the section.  

Our ideal candidate for this role has:

• A Journeyman Trades certificate (e.g. Plumbing, Millwright, Electrician) or equivalent
• 4th Class Power Engineering Certification
• 5 years in a Level III or IV Provincial Water Treatment or Distribution operation or equivalent at least 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience
• 2 years including demonstrated understanding of HR related policies
