Learn more about Environment Canada's Proposed Regulatory Framework for Wastewater (CCME Strategy's) potential effects on BC's wastewater legislation and get a chance to ask questions that affect you and your municipality.

Who: |
Presenter Catriona Weidman has worked for the BC Ministry of Environment since 2000, and she has been the Victoria lead on the wastewater file for the last five years.Her work has included acting as the BC representative on the CCME Development Committee charged with creating a Canada-wide Strategy for Municipal Wastewater Effluent. She has also been leading the review of the Municipal Sewage Regulation. Recently, Catriona has accepted a new challenge with the Ministry of Community Services in the area of municipal infrastructure engineering and finance. Before moving to Victoria, Catriona lived in Calgary and worked for municipal government and in consulting engineering. She received her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Civil Engineering (Water Resources) degrees from the University of Calgary. |
