Introduction

The Wastewater Management Committee recognizes that the general topical area of treatment has expanded significantly in recent years as municipalities, utilities and industries respond to both historical and new and emerging challenges. More and more, wastewater is seen as a resource for the water, elements and potential energy it contains.

The BCWWA Wastewater Management Committee holds 2 - 3 breakfast seminars annually. These workshops are on issues directly affecting the wastewater industry and are generally targeted towards engineers, municipalities, utilities, scientists and policy and decision makers.
