A Message from the Committee
Important Reminder!
There's been a number of CCC testers concerned over the need to test two PVBA's (pressure vacuum breaker assembly) a year to satisfy the requirement of testing two of each type of testable assemblies for recertification of their CCC testers certificate. Since, the PVBA is part of the certification program and an assembly which is included and allowed under present plumbing codes and bylaws, it's a requirement of BCWWA to insist on continued testing of a minimum of two of these assemblies a year to maintain an active CCC testers certificate.
Hello everyone. The Cross Connection Control Committee is pleased to welcome you to our website. During the past few years the CCCC has been hard at work promoting backflow awareness throughout the province of British Columbia. Many times over this period, people have approached us to find a way for individuals and organizations to gain access to information and expertise that this committee had to share. So, it is our pleasure to bring to life just some of this information and knowledge.
The information contained throughout these pages is provided to assist those who are beginning a new cross connection program, want to find out what backflow is and how to prevent it, are looking for a website link in the industry, and much more.
We sincerely hope that this site is a helpful tool for our membership and anyone else eager to seek information and knowledge about cross connection control and backflow.
