Operator Training Opportunities
YWWA and BCWWA are pleased to offer Training Oportunities for Operators prior to the 2006 Water and Wastewater Conference and Tradeshow (Nov. 21 - 22, 2006).
Courses will be held at the Westmark Hotel

Chlorine Handling
This course provides basic coverage of topics relating to the transportation, storage, metering, and distribution of chlorine gas and hypochlorite solutions.
Duration: 5 Days, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Small Water Systems
The Small Water Systems course provides a working knowledge of water distribution and water treatment practices and focuses on the basic aspects of system construction, operation, and maintenance. This course will be of value to all operators of water distribution and/or water treatment systems, particularly those that serve a population of less than 500. Upon completion of the course, students will have satisfied the training requirements which, combined with appropriate experience, will make them eligible to write the Small Water Systems exam for the Environmental Operators Certification Program.
Duration: 2 Days, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Dates: November 20 - 21, 2006
Course Fee: $395.00 plus GST
Exam: EOCP Certification Exam.
