Yukon Water & Waste Association

Mission Statement

The Yukon Branch of the BCWWA is committed to the safeguarding of public health, safety and the environment through the advancement of skills and knowledge in the operation, maintenance, design and construction of water, wastewater and solid waste works in Yukon.

Objectives

To act as a clearinghouse for technical and operational water, wastewater and solid waste information in Yukon.

To promote and/or provide continuing education training opportunities and professional development, including facilitating and promoting mandatory certification and continuing education requirements for water, wastewater and solid waste operators in Yukon and Northern BC.

To organize and host technical conferences and trade shows.

To co-operate and liaise with Federal, Territorial, First Nation and Municipal agencies to discuss Yukon water, wastewater and solid waste issues.
