Join Us for Five Days of Action Packed Events!
The BCWWA’s 2009 Annual Conference & Trade Show offers opportunities for Operators to make contacts throughout the industry, learn about the latest technological developments, and put their skills to the test.
NETWORK Get to know BC’s water and wastewater operators and the BCWWA and EOCP Directors! Join us on the afternoon of Sunday April 26th for a pizza and drinks at the Operators Icebreaker.
DEVELOP Enhance skills and increase the effectiveness of operations and maintenance personnel. Participate in two full days of technical paper presentations or attend the new Enhanced Operator Stream on April 27th and 28th. In addition, we have three Technical Transfer Sessions to choose from on April 29th. Earn CEUs!
COMPETE Practical competitions will take place Sunday and Monday during Trade Show hours. The competitions test speed, knowledge, skills, safety and teamwork. The following competitions will be held in 2009:

- Top Ops Knowledge Contest

CEU Announcement
The Environmental Operators Certification Program (EOCP) has once again approved the BCWWA Annual Conference & Trade Show for a maximum of 1.8 CEUs. The breakdown of CEU credits is as follows:
- 0.3 CEUs per session of the Technical Papers Program or the Enhanced Operators Stream
- Monday Morning
- Monday Afternoon (Technical Papers only)
- Tuesday Morning
- Tuesday Afternoon
- 0.6 CEUs per one-day session of the Wednesday Technical Transfer Sessions (pick one of three)
Attendance tracking forms will be available onsite at the Conference - don't forget to get one signed and submitted to EOCP to receive CEU credits!

Calling all operators! Drop in to the Operators Icebreaker to get geared up for another awesome Conference. Say hello to representatives from BCWWA and EOCP, and meet up with your teammates for the Operators Challenge activities and scope out the competition over pizza and drinks.
New for 2009: Enhanced Operator Stream
This unique training opportunity will be in a classroom setting but with a focus on hands-on training with equipment provided by BCWWA’s Manufacturers, Suppliers and Consultants.
The new operator stream will consist of 5 operator training sessions, running concurrently Monday morning, Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon for a total of 15 sessions. Sessions will be 3 hours each, running at the same time as the Technical Paper Presentations.
