Overview of Award Program
The ongoing success of BCWWA is predicated upon the effort of its members and volunteers. In an attempt to recognize the commitments of those individuals who have been exemplary in their dedication to the Association and our industry, BCWWA offers a number of different awards. Given the geographical breadth of the organization and the fact that it now consist of 3,700 members, it is often difficult for the Awards Committee to identify and gather information on specific individuals and organizations that warrant special recognition. This web page has been created to provide a mechanism whereby you can easily nominate an individual or company for one of the awards detailed below.

Nomination Process
- The nomination may be put forward by a BCWWA member or non-member.
- Depending on the award, you may nominate a company or person who you feel meets the 'spirit' of the award.
- The nominations deadline for 2008 has passed. To nominate someone for next year, please fill
out our nominations form or mail or fax the printed
form(s) to

- You may submit more than one nomination.
- The final decision will be made by the Awards committee or its ad hoc sub-committees.
- You may propose a new award in the event a suitable award does not already exist.
- Any specific questions should be directed to the BCWWA office.
Nomination Requirements
- Completed nomination form, which can be sent back to the BCWWA office via email, facsimile, or mail.
- Statement of nomination (not exceed one page) providing background and why the nomination should be considered. In addition, other aspects such as educational background, mentorship roles, major achievements, etc. should also be included if applicable.
