BCWWA Awards Program

The ongoing success of BCWWA is predicated upon the effort of its members and volunteers. In an attempt to recognize the commitments of those individuals who have been exemplary in their dedication to the Association and our industry, BCWWA offers a number of different awards. Nominate an individual or company for one of the awards detailed below!

The deadline for award nominations is Friday January 8, 2010.

Nomination Process:

Nominations may be put forward by a BCWWA member or non-member.
Depending on the award, you may nominate a company or an individual who you feel meets the ‘spirit’ of the award.
Please mail forms to BCWWA, #221 – 8678 Greenall Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5J 3M6 or fax forms to 604-433-9859.
You may submit more than one nomination.
The final decision will be made by the Awards Committee or its ad hoc sub-committees.
You may propose a new award in the event a suitable award does not already exist.
Any specific questions should be directed to the BCWWA office.

Nomination Requirements:

Completed nomination form, which can be sent back to the BCWWA office either online or via email, fax or mail.
Statement of nomination (not exceeding one page) providing background and why the nomination should be considered. In addition, other aspects such as educational background, mentorship roles, and major achievements should be included if applicable.
A 50- to 75-word citation suitable for publication and the award presentation ceremony.
